Brockmans Gin unveils new bottle design
By Melita KielyBritish brand Brockmans Gin has had a packaging makeover designed to add “tactility” to its packaging.
The new bottle design for Brockmans Gin will be released this summerThe new bottle design will launch this summer and features a black bottle with cross-hatched embossing on the black glass with inset labels and an embossed signature.
“Our brand enjoys an exquisitely sensual look,” said Bob Fowkes, marketing director of Brockmans and one of the gin’s founders. “The smooth glossy yet solid black bottle combined with elegant flourishes within the logo and graphics creates an aura of a unique and beautifully made gin. In our desire to constantly enhance this seductive brand communication we have added tactility to our packaging.
“We have developed a new bottle with embossed features included in the body of the bottle. This crosshatch emboss within the black glass provides physical engagement with Brockmans as you pour your personal serve.
“The uniquely die-cut labels have been inset within the glass, conveying the true craftsmanship of this batch-distilled gin. Significantly, we have carved our Brockmans ‘B’ signature into the shoulder of the bottle and set within a cartouche.”
The new design is the work of Andy Hill, who has been Brockmans Gin’s designer since it was founded, while Yorkshire-based glassmaker, Stölzle, made the glass bottle.
In addition, the brand is set to launch a new website later this summer, www.brockmansgin.com, which will include the recently launched art film, A Night Like No Other, and a list of UK stockists.
