The Mauritius Rum Festival comes to the UK

Organisers of the Mauritius Rum Festival have announced the line-up for the show’s first UK appearance.

The Mauritius Rum Festival will come to the UK for the first time next month

The festival, which will take place at the Emirates Stadium, London, on 3 and 4 April, will showcase a number of Mauritian rum brands including Penny Blue, Green Island and Tilambic.

Guests will have the opportunity to attend tasting sessions, cocktail competitions, and seminars from special guests including global rum ambassador and founder of UK RumFest Ian Burrell.

The inaugural Mauritius Rum Festival took place in August 2013 at Flic an Flac, on the west coast of Mauritius.

Other exhibiting rum brands at the 2014 UK show include Litchquor, Pink Pigeon, Rhumerie de Chamarel, New Grove, Citronella and Le Colinieres.

It will take place alongside the Mauritius Fashion Fiesta, which showcases Mauritius’s textile and fashion industry.
