Cutty Sark campaign encourages adventure
La Martiniquaise-Bardinet’s Cutty Sark has launched a marketing campaign celebrating the blended Scotch brand’s ‘adventurous’ spirit.

Under the slogan ‘Follow Your Spirit of Adventure’, the new campaign encourages whisky enthusiasts to break away from the ordinary and pursue new adventures of their own.
Cutty Sark is said to have remained true to its ‘adventurous’ spirit for more than 100 years.
Named after the famous tea clipper, the blended Scotch whisky was introduced in 1923 during the height of US Prohibition.
The campaign features a key visual that showcases a group of hikers ascending towards a breathtaking clifftop viewpoint overlooking the sea, where the brand’s emblem, the three-masted Cutty Sark, serves as a symbol of the adventure that lies ahead.
A second visual immerses the viewer among kayakers embarking on an ocean journey, inspired by the ship’s silhouette.
In both scenes, accents of Cutty Sark’s signature yellow contrast with a maritime blue palette inspired by the brand’s seafaring heritage.
Standing alongside the whisky brand’s Original’s bottle is a Highball cocktail, highlighting its versatility.
Manon Brochet, international senior brand manager of Cutty Sark, said: “Cutty Sark has always revelled in its adventurous spirit, so we are thrilled to invite drinkers to discover their own through our new campaign. Whether your idea of adventure is hiking, kayaking or simply discovering a new way to enjoy whisky, Cutty Sark is for you.
“This is a whisky for all those ready to leave the shore and embark on adventures, no matter how big or small.”
The campaign will launch globally in August across all major brand touchpoints, supported by still and video content.
Last year, Cutty Sark released a triple-cask-matured 17-year-old blend.
