Le Philtre vodka hopes to accelerate its UK distribution through a new partnership with Mangrove

Mangrove has taken over the brand’s UK distribution from Cask Liquid Marketing.

The new partnership aims to boost the eco-friendly vodka brand’s distribution in the UK, initially focusing on both on- and off-trade channels.

Nick Gillett, managing director of Mangrove Global, commented: “Le Philtre has already aligned itself with iconic outlets and partners in Europe, like Galerie Lafayette, luxury hotel Le Ritz and La Grande Epicerie de Paris. It is also listed in the first class of Air France, earning its position as a stylish and luxurious spirit for the discerning drinker.

“It offers UK consumers an elevated tipple and sophisticated drinking experience, at a manageable price point. The bottle looks equally distinctive in a back bar or spirits shelf, making it a real standout spirit.”

The distribution partner change follows Spiribam’s acquisition of a majority stake in Le Philtre in September 2025 as part of a commitment to diversify its premium spirits offering.

Gregoire Gueden, CEO of Spiribam, said: “With the backing of Spiribam and now the distribution expertise of Mangrove, our ambition for Le Philtre is to establish the brand as the premium vodka of choice for discerning drinkers, all the while protecting its extraordinary eco-friendly style and ‘art de vivre’.”

Le Philtre champions what it describes as ‘joyful ecology’: a positive, stylish approach to sustainability that is aesthetically striking and environmentally responsible.

Each distinctive 700ml bottle is made from recycled waste glass with a green or blue tint, depending on the type of reclaimed glass used in production.

The vodka is produced in Cognac, France, from organic winter wheat. It is distilled six times: first four times in traditional column stills and two final stages with ‘a few drops’ of added oakwood distillate.

Camille Sebbag-Barjon, brand director of Le Philtre, commented: “Mangrove’s reputation of working with quality spirits aligns perfectly with Le Philtre’s core positioning – an exquisite liquid, with all the style and substance of the French ‘good life’.

“With an equal focus on sustainability without sacrifice, we look forward to working with the Mangrove team and building on all that we’ve achieved with Le Philtre in Europe.”

Le Philtre vodka has a recommended retail price of £39 (US$52) for a 700ml bottle. It is also available in a 350ml format.
