The airport in Amsterdam is described as one of Europe’s busiest international hubs.

The introduction of 50ml minis is said to mark a significant milestone for Gin 1689 as it continues to expand its presence in global travel retail, offering a compact, travel-friendly format for travellers.

“Schiphol is a key gateway for millions of international travellers, and we’re thrilled to see Gin 1689 now available in this convenient mini format,” said Alexander Janssens, founder of Gin 1689.

“Demand for premium, locally crafted spirits in travel retail continues to rise. These 50 ml bottles are the perfect answer – small in size, big in flavour.”

Gin 1689’s miniatures are available in three signature varieties: Dry Gin, Pink Gin, and Dutch Orange Gin.

The miniatures meet carry-on requirements and serve as premium souvenirs for gin enthusiasts worldwide.

With this launch, Gin 1689 aims to enhance its position in the global spirits market and reaffirms its ambition to grow further within the travel retail sector.

Earlier this month, the brand secured two new travel retail listings for its 700ml bottles at Eindhoven and The Hague airports in the Netherlands.

Outside the travel retail sector, Gin 1689 recently gained a spot on the shelves at Dutch spirits retailer Gall & Gall.
