Mexcor takes on Eight Lands in Florida
By Miona MadsenSpeyside-based Eight Lands has appointed Mexcor International as distributor of its vodka and gin in Florida, US.

Mexcor will assume the distribution and brand-building responsibilities for the Scottish brand throughout the state. The company has taken over Eight Lands’ distribution in Florida from Barrel & Wine, which partnered with the distillery last year.
With complete control over logistics, the company boasts 3,500-plus clients in Florida and a team of more than 65 employees.
Mike Ginley, US country manager for Eight Lands, commented: “Florida has quickly shown great potential for Eight Lands following our launch there last October, and Mexcor International is the perfect partner to grow the brand in this market.
“Their expertise, established relationships and commitment to brand-building in premium segments make Mexcor well-suited to represent Eight Lands in Florida. This agreement reflects a shared commitment to disciplined market development and long-term brand building.”
Eight Lands organic gin and vodka are produced at Glenrinnes Distillery, located in the heart of the Speyside region in Scotland. The brand is named after the eight counties visible from the top of nearby Ben Rinnes mountain on a clear day.
The partnership with Mexcor International caps off a busy 2025 for the brand, during which Eight Lands launched its vodka and gin in Washington DC and Maryland in collaboration with Stefano Selections.
Additionally, Eight Lands’ organic spirits became available for online purchase across numerous US states through Potomac Wines.
In another expansion, Eight Lands debuted in Shanghai and across Mainland China last spring through a partnership with Shanghai Society.
Beyond the US and China, the brand’s portfolio – including the limited edition Producers’ Series sloe gin and barrel-aged vodka – has been available in Japan and Macau for several years, particularly through stockists such as the St Regis and W Hotel.
