Goodnight Loving Vodka has emerged as the brand that will assume the Deep Eddy visitor centre in Dripping Springs, Texas.

Heaven Hill Brands-owned Deep Eddy recently announced that it would be transitioning its site in Dripping Springs to another vodka distillery this summer. Production of Deep Eddy Vodka will continue at its main distillery in Buda, Texas.

Heaven Hill did not confirm, however, which vodka producer would be taking over the site when the move was announced. The American whiskey giant has invested millions into the site since completing its acquisition of the brand in 2015. The Dripping Springs site was established as the original distillery and brand home for Deep Eddy Vodka, which later added a visitor centre.

Goodnight Loving Vodka launched in 2020 as a father-and-son passion project from co-founders Tim and Timothy Osburn.

The team is hoping to produce more than one million cases per year when it settles into its new home.

The expansion will also bring its full ‘spring-to-bottle’ production together under one roof for the first time. The brand produces a vodka with pure artesian spring water sourced from the Goodnight Loving Spring on the family ranch in Mason, Texas.

The vodka is made from American corn, distilled seven times and then filtered. It sits at 40% ABV, is naturally gluten-free and has no sugar added.

The Spirits Business has reached out to Goodnight Loving Vodka to confirm where the brand is currently made. The brand’s website claims the vodka is produced in Austin, Texas.

Tim Osburn, CEO and co-founder of Goodnight Loving Vodka, said: “We are thrilled to expand our footprint into Dripping Springs.

“This exceptional facility gives us the opportunity to further showcase our celebrated product. We look forward to welcoming guests into our new home.”

The 30,000 square-foot facility also features a tasting room and visitor experience.

Good Night Loving has not scheduled an official opening date for public visits. The new owner will take over the site from 1 August, according to Heaven Hill.

Visitors can still visit the Dripping Springs tasting room for Deep Eddy until 13 June.
