Cotswolds offers distillery trip
The Cotswolds Distillery has launched an on-pack promotion in the UK on-trade, offering the chance to visit its distillery in the English countryside.
The promotion will run digitally on Ocado and in stores at more than 272 Waitrose locations – the distillery’s retail partners in the UK – until the end of May 2026.
The promotion offers the distillery’s Dry Gin at a reduced price of £29.50 (US$40), lower than the normal RRP of £41 (US$55).
Furthermore, there are two weekend trips to the Cotswolds and the brand’s distillery in the English countryside up for grabs, as well as 100 distillery tours.
Online consumers can scan the QR code on the product listing image and fill in the entry form via the link www.winwithcotswoldsgin.co.uk, while neck tags will be available on every 700ml bottle of the Dry Gin at participating Waitrose stores.
Explaining the benefit of promotions for the brand, Izzy Connor, marketing manager of Cotswolds Distillery, said: “Promotions like these are a great way to add value for customers across our top-performing grocery partners.
“As the seasons shift, it felt like the perfect moment to spotlight our Cotswolds Dry Gin and offer customers the chance to win a relaxing country escape to the Cotswolds while experiencing the magic of our award-winning distillery.”
Cotswolds Dry Gin blends nine botanicals, including local lavender from the Cotswolds, freshly-peeled pink grapefruit and lime zest. The distillery notes that the ‘unusually high volume of botanicals’ used in the gin creates ‘pearlescent cloud’ after adding ice or tonic to make its Cotswolds Cloudy G&T.
The brand has previously teamed up with Highgrove on another on-pack promotion, which gave consumers the chance to visit Highgrove Gardens in Gloucestershire.
Earlier this year, the English spirits producer partnered with Sipwell Brands to accelerate its presence in global travel retail, while founder Daniel Szor returned to the CEO role in January.
