Cotswolds teams up with Highgrove

English spirits producer Cotswolds Distillery has launched an on-pack promotion that offers a chance to visit Highgrove Gardens in Gloucestershire.

Cotswolds
The promotion will run until September 2024

Until September, more than 30,000 bottles stocked at in-store retailers in the UK  – either the 700ml bottle of Cotswolds Dry Gin or the 700ml bottle of Cotswolds Wildflower No 1 Gin – will have a complimentary pack of Highgrove Wildflower Meadow Seeds on their neck tag.

The pack contains a perennial seed mix from Highgrove Gardens, which covers roughly four square metres.

In addition, purchasers will have a chance to win a visit to the gardens.

Accessed via a QR code printed on the bottleneck tag, 10 experiences are up for grabs, with two released every month until September.

Kate Harrison, Cotswolds Distillery’s marketing director, said, “Environmental practices are a key focus for the Cotswolds Distillery this year and we are delighted to be partnering with Highgrove who have been championing sustainable practices for many years.

“We hope this on-pack promotion not only celebrates two very British brands but will also encourage consumers to think about the surrounds they live and work in.”

The promotion will run at Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Waitrose and Majestic online via the Cotswolds Distillery website, and at the distillery’s two satellite shops in Broadway and Bourton-on-the-Water.

Last year, the two brands collaborated to create a limited edition whisky that celebrated King Charles III’s 75th birthday.

Scott Simpson, head of group retail at The King’s Foundation, added: “We are delighted to be working with Cotswolds Distillery again. We hope people enjoy planting our wildflower mix seeds made from some of the varieties found in the Wildflower Meadow at Highgrove Gardens.’’
