Malibu goes pink with guava
By Miona MadsenPernod Ricard’s rum-based coconut liqueur Malibu has introduced a new guava-flavoured variant called Pink.

Sitting at 21% ABV, the new flavour combines guava, pineapple, and coconut, and comes in a pink hue.
Identified by Uren as a 2026 flavour trend to watch, tropical flavours like guava are said to be transitioning from speciality to mainstream.
Malibu Pink can be mixed with lemonade or enjoyed as a shot for ‘a sun-soaked experience’.
Later this spring, Malibu will launch a new campaign filled with pink hues, alongside activations and partnerships that put a twist on Malibu’s ‘Do Whatever Tastes Good’ ethos.
Saragh Killeen, US brand director of Malibu, said: “Malibu has always been the go-to drink for those seeking a tropical and exotic experience. With the launch of Malibu Pink, we’re pairing familiar favourites like coconut and pineapple with new guava-led notes as the next evolution in tropical flavour, transporting summer-seekers on a new adventure.”
The pink spirit is joined by another new addition to Malibu’s portfolio in the recently launched canned ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails with Dole.
The RTDs are inspired by the most popular ways people enjoy Malibu, combining the brand’s signature coconut flavour with rum, Dole pineapple juice, sparkling water, and other natural flavours.
They are available in a new variety pack of eight, featuring four flavours: Pineapple, Pineapple Mango, Pineapple Strawberry, and Pineapple Dragon Fruit.
All four flavours contain 130 calories per 355ml can and clock in at 4.5% ABV.
Malibu & Dole RTD cocktails will make their festival debut this spring, starting with the Stagecoach California Country Music Festival, which will take place in Indio from 24 to 26 April.
At The Brand Champions 2025, Malibu retained its spot as the second-best-selling liqueur brand in the world.
Last the year, the brand also introduced a ‘Clock Off’ campaign with Succession actor Brian Cox.
