The Whisky Exchange names new MD
By Miona MadsenLondon-based retailer The Whisky Exchange has appointed former Berry Bros & Rudd executive Natalie Tennent as its new managing director.

Tennent will join The Whisky Exchange on 7 July 2025 after spending 30 years at Berry Bros & Rudd, where she most recently held the position of chief commercial officer.
During her tenure at Berry Bros, she focused on driving the company’s international expansion and creating various experiences.
Tennent, a seasoned industry professional and Keeper of the Quaich, is said to bring a wealth of expertise from her diverse experience in commercial, finance, and operations roles. In her new role, she will lead the London-based company’s next growth phase.
As the new managing director, she will oversee The Whisky Exchange as well as Speciality Drinks and Whisky.Auction.
Tennent will take over the position from Olivier Gasperin, who joined the company after Pernod Ricard acquired The Whisky Exchange, Speciality Drinks and Whisky.Auction in late 2021.
After a three-and-a-half-year tenure, Gasperin will return to Pernod Ricard’s headquarters at the end of June.
Nicolas Oudinot, CEO of the direct-to-consumer business unit of Pernod Ricard, commented on the new appointment: “I would like to take the opportunity to thank Olivier Gasperin, deputy managing director of The Whisky Exchange, who has been instrumental in the past three and a half years in managing the integration of The Whisky Exchange into the Pernod Ricard group, while keeping the specificity of its DNA and a complete neutrality.
“We are delighted to have Natalie on board. With her extensive experience in international business development of fine wines and spirits, I am confident that she will successfully lead the company on its journey to becoming the global destination for connoisseurs and enthusiasts of fine spirits. Welcome, Natalie.”
