The Tequila brand will be available to on-trade accounts and wholesalers through a partnership with advisory business Hospitality Inc.

Co-founder and chairman Andrew T Chrisomalis said: “We’re thrilled to bring Pantalones to bars, pubs, and restaurants across the UK – starting with great spots like Cosy Club.

“As one of the few organic Tequilas on the market, we see real opportunity in the on-trade. And with retail expansion coming this fall, we’re just getting started.

“The agave spirits category has been growing globally for over a decade, and we’re excited for Pantalones to help drive that momentum in the UK.”

Pantalones initially launched in the US in October 2023, with a full national roll-out following in September 2024. Most recently, the brand expanded to Australia in February this year.

The Tequila is made from 100% organic Blue Weber agave and produced at a family-owned distillery in Amatitán, Jalisco. The brand’s sustainability commitments include being USDA-certified organic and a member of 1% for the Planet.

The range comprises a blanco, reposado (aged for nine months) and añejo (aged for 15 months).

The McConaugheys described the brand as “for those who appreciate the finer things in life – but don’t take themselves too seriously”.

They added: “Tequila should be fun – and Pantalones is just that. Whether you’re sipping it, shooting it, or mixing it in a cocktail, it’s made to be enjoyed. The only thing we take seriously is the juice in the bottle – it’s organic, award-winning, and delicious. We’re excited to share it with our friends across the pond.”

Pantalones is known for its ‘cheeky’ marketing campaigns, which included the McConaugheys going pantless for the brand’s ‘Official Tequila Of’ initiative.
