Bryan Cranston’s Dos Hombres partners with Salud Austria
By Miona MadsenMezcal brand Dos Hombres, founded by Breaking Bad actors Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston, has launched in Austria in partnership with distributor Salud.

Dos Hombres is said to embody the rich tradition of Mexican mezcal production and celebrates the unique flavours and spirit of the region.
Paul and Cranston launched the brand in 2019 following a trip to one of Mexico’s most remote villages.
Made by a seventh-generation distiller, Gregorio Velasco, in San Luis del Rio, Oaxaca, Dos Hombres is distilled from six-year-old Espadin agave and bottled at 42% ABV.
The mezcal is said to exhibit an array of flavours, including apple, hints of mango, subtle notes of local fruits like zapote, and ‘a gentle whisper of oak’ from the fermentation barrels.
Maria Kitsati, country director of Salud Spirits, said: “We are proud to welcome Dos Hombres Mezcal back into Austria, and we look forward to collaborating with them to roll out the brand across numerous on- and off-trade accounts.
“Dos Hombres fits perfectly within our portfolio of Mexican-oriented spirits like 818 Tequila and other celebrity brands.”
The mezcal joins Salud’s spirits portfolio, which also includes Loch Lomond, Glen Scotia, and Scarabus single malts, as well as Margot Robbie’s Papa Salt Gin.
In 2021, Constellation Brands acquired a minority stake in Dos Hombres for an undisclosed sum.
