Noble Coyote Mezcal lands in Cyprus
By Miona MadsenCharter Brands has appointed Othon Ghalanos Group as the exclusive importer and distributor of Noble Coyote Mezcal in Cyprus.

Charter Brands has been collaborating with Noble Coyote since 2023 to introduce its range of mezcals to enthusiasts in new global markets.
The mezcal brand is currently available in more than 14 markets, including Poland, Bulgaria, Albania, the Netherlands, Turkey, Ukraine, Colombia, and the US.
Sinéad Van Zijl, business development manager at Charter Brands, said: “At Charter Brands, we collaborate with like-minded partners who are committed to crafting exceptional spirits with authenticity, skill, and unwavering dedication.
“Working with Othon Ghalanos Group has been a pleasure – their deep-rooted heritage, market knowledge, and commitment to excellence make them the ideal partner for growing Noble Coyote Mezcal in Cyprus.”
Othon Ghalanos Group claims to be the oldest wine and spirits distributor in Cyprus and also distributes Charter Brands’ El Tequileño Tequila in both the on- and off-trade.
Van Zijl added: “We have seen first-hand their ability to develop and sustain premium brands, and we are confident that Noble Coyote will thrive under their stewardship, just as El Tequileño has. We look forward to continuing this successful collaboration and bringing more exceptional spirits to consumers together.”
Elena S Ghalanos, managing director of Othon Ghalanos Group, described Noble Coyote as a “highly acclaimed artisanal mezcal that marries the ancient traditions of its heritage with the innovative techniques of unique ecological agriculture through its certified artisanal production process”.
Ghalanos added: “We are also highly appreciative of the support of Charter Brands, which is successfully growing the global presence of El Tequileño and Noble Coyote, together with the owners of the brands.”
The mezcal joins the distributor’s portfolio, which includes brands such as Glenmorangie, Ardbeg, the Rémy Cointreau portfolio, Jägermeister, and Familia Torres.
Last week, Charter Brands’ subsidiary, The Incubator, partnered with Caribbean rum brand Come Hell or High Water.
