Hoste Cocktails opens flagship location
By Ted SimmonsChicago-based bottled cocktail brand Hoste will bring its production and hospitality efforts under one roof.

Hoste Cocktails, known for its Gold Fashioned bottled cocktail, has opened a new 15,000 square-foot space in Chicago’s Pilsen neighbourhood. The venue is the brand’s first bricks-and-mortar location and will feature a flexible private event space
“This space is a celebration of everything we believe in,” co-founder Jordan Tepper said. “We’re proud to have a home in Pilsen – a neighbourhood full of energy, history, and artistry – and we can’t wait to welcome people in. Whether you’re here for a wedding, a tasting, a live show, or just to connect with friends, our hope is that it always feels like a place you belong.”
In addition to being a production hub and event space, the venue will also host public programming as curated by general manager Natalie Figueroa. Events kick off in May and include day parties, health and wellness events, social gatherings, and markets. These experiences will highlight local talent and will be both ticketed and free.
Hoste is an off-shoot of Apologue Liqueurs, and the new space gives both brands a self-operated production facility enabling them to innovate and expand. A new ‘botanical wall’ will serve as an ingredient library and offer inspiration for product development.
In July 2024, Hoste added a third release to its line of bottled cocktails – a Mezcal Negroni bottled at 35% ABV and priced at US$80.
