Inspired by Persian history and flavours, Rumi Beverages’ portfolio includes Parsi wines, Rumi Vodka, and Dry Gin.

The producer’s spirits are named after Rumi, aka Jalal ad-Din Mohamed Balkhi (1207 – 1273), considered one of the greatest Sufi mystics and poets in the Persian language.

Rumi Vodka is offered at 38% ABV and can be enjoyed on its own or mixed in a cocktail.

The brand’s dry gin includes botanicals such as saffron, rhubarb root, lavender and orange blossom and is bottled at 43% ABV.

With its new deal with the Danish distribution platform, Bemakers, Rumi Beverages’ products will be available online for deliveries in eight European countries – Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden through Systembolaget and Switzerland.

Additionally, the brand is available through Bemakers Trade for the on- and off-trade in Germany, Sweden and Denmark.

Bemakers commented: “We are thrilled to welcome Rumi Beverages to the Bemakers family and to help bring their extraordinary story to new audiences.”

Earlier this month, Bemakers expanded its portfolio by partnering with Spanish Avao 1137 Dry Gin and Cambodian producer Seekers Independent Spirits.

Last year, the distribution platform raised €3.5 million (US$3.8m) in a seed funding round to boost its business in Europe.
