Cygnet G&T gains Co-op listing
By Miona MadsenCygnet Gin, co-founded by Katherine Jenkins OBE, has secured a listing for its Welsh Dry Gin & Tonic in Co-op stores across Wales.

Founded by Jenkins and Andrew Levitas, the ready-to-drink (RTD) gin and tonic will be available in around 70 Co-op Welsh stores.
Nick Payne, managing director at Cygnet, said: “We are delighted to see Cygnet Welsh Dry Gin & Tonic on the shelves of Co-op. We have experienced a fantastic growth trajectory with Cygnet since launch, expanding the brand’s footprint across the UK with partners who ensure they’re delivering the best quality products to their shoppers.”
The RTD is made with Cygnet’s Dry gin, created using a blend of 12 botanicals, and tonic made with Welsh water.
Lois Betts, Co-op local buyer, commented: “We are excited to be working with Cygnet. With quality, choice and provenance valued by our member-owners and customers we are delighted to see their great-tasting product on our shelves.
“We look for interesting, innovative and exciting products that we believe will resonate with our member-owners and customers, and we are confident that shoppers will love the award-winning Cygnet Welsh Dry Gin and Tonic.”
The retailer has worked closely with the Welsh government’s Food And Drink Wales Trade Development Programme – which is dedicated to supporting the growth and development of local companies.
The new listing follows the brand’s successful year with several industry accolades, including two Gold medals at The Gin Masters 2024 and a Silver medal for the canned G&T at The Pre-Mixed, RTD & Hard Seltzer Masters 2024.
Cygnet has also expanded its distribution with listings in Tesco, Marks & Spencer and Fortnum & Mason.
Earlier this month, ex-Campari CEO Matteo Fantacchiotti joined Cygnet Gin as a partner and chairman.
