Tamar Gin lands in Abu Dhabi
Luxembourg-based Tamar Exclusive Dates Gin has partnered with distributor Infinity Drinks to bring the brand to Abu Dhabi.
Tamar is crafted using Medjool dates and ‘high-quality and carefully selected’ botanicals.
Now available for purchase in leading retailers, bars, and restaurants in Abu Dhabi, the gin is said to evoke the ‘enchanting world of Arabian Nights‘.
With the launch of Tamar Gin in Abu Dhabi, Infinity Drinks continues to expand its presence in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Elias Shayia, owner of Infinity Drinks UAE, said: “We are excited to introduce Tamar Gin to the UAE market, especially in Abu Dhabi, where the premium spirits scene is growing rapidly.
“Tamar Gin represents a fusion of tradition and innovation, offering gin lovers an elevated drinking experience with every sip. Its unique blend of Medjool dates makes it a standout choice for cocktail enthusiasts, connoisseurs, and anyone who appreciates high-quality spirits.”
The Medjool date, also known as ‘the king of fruits’, is at the heart of the gin with accompanying flavours of bitter orange, an array of spices and 10 other botanicals.
The result is a ‘well-rounded and complex’ gin perfect for sipping and mixing.
Tamar Gin is said to shine in classic cocktails and pairs with various mixers. Infinity Drinks recommends pairing it with premium tonic water, such as Fever-Tree Mediterranean, garnished with a dried orange peel or half a Medjool date for the perfect serve.
At the 2024 Gin Masters – First Tasting, the gin was awarded a Gold medal.
