The Secret Garden toasts to Cocktail Week

Scottish gin producer The Secret Garden Distillery hosted an activation with three local bars during Edinburgh Cocktail Week.

Edinburgh Cocktail Week was held from 10-20 October.

The Secret Garden Distillery collaborated with partners including The Voodoo Rooms, Edinburgh Street Food, and Nauticus this year.

The three venues crafted a cocktail each using the brand’s gin, which was then available at The Secret Garden pop-up bar.

The Voodoo Rooms created the Hyssy Fit cocktail, using the brand’s lemon verbena gin, acidified blood orange, lemonade and homemade anise hyssop syrup, made from freshly harvested botanicals from the distillery’s garden.

Nauticus created the Nauty Slushy, pairing Secret Garden’s signature Wild Gin with apple, elderflower and freshly squeezed ginger juice.

As well as serving up the drink during Cocktail Week, Nauticus featured the slushie on its summer specials board from its Hatch window.

The partnership with Edinburgh Street Food also extended from the distillery’s pop-up menu, to a bespoke menu at the venue throughout the week.

In the village, Street Food crafted the Fleur De Fizz cocktail, made with Secret Garden’s elderflower and jasmine gin, the gin brand’s bianco vermouth, elderflower and Prosecco.

The fourth cocktail featured at the village pop-up was created by the distillery team. The Secret Garden Gin Spritz was made with elderflower and jasmine gin, grapefruit and lychee soda.

The Secret Garden Distillery is nestled within a garden brimming with botanicals, with the team committed to preserving the environment and delivering high-quality, eco-friendly products.

In July, the Scottish gin producer hosted a bar takeover to promote sustainability in the spirits industry.
