GCA sponsors SB Awards
Glass manufacturer GCA will sponsor the Spirits Bottler of the Year prize at The Spirits Business Awards 2024.
The Spirits Business Awards (SB Awards) was established in 2019 with the aim of celebrating excellence across the spirits industry.
On 14 November 2024, a black-tie event will take place at The Underglobe theatre in London, where the winners of each category will be revealed.
Categories span five core areas of the spirits trade: Retail and Marketing, Sustainability and Innovation, Tourism, Products, and People.
Last year’s Spirits Bottler of the Year was That Boutique-y Drinks Company.
The entry deadline for this year’s awards is 28 June 2024. The shortlisted entries will be announced in August.
A spokesperson from GCA said: “GCA, being a leading Turkish brand in the glass packaging industry with years of experience and know-how, continues its innovative approaches to maintain its pioneering position in the industry.
“While our glass packaging products match global standards in the food and beverage (F&B) industries, we also strive to make a difference with our premium spirits bottles and global projects.
“With the aim of providing a healthy, natural and reliable glass experience in each of our products, at GCA, we continuously develop the service and experience we offer to our business partners.
“We try to use different occasions to communicate with the industry globally and reach more F&B enthusiast brands each year. This year we wanted to sponsor The SB Awards and contribute to the recognition of people and brands who continue to push the boundaries of innovation for the spirits market.”
Earlier this year, GCA announced it aims to enter new markets and invest in career development.
