Hermit Gin partners with Amanti Cocktails
By Lauren BowesAmsterdam-based Hermit Dutch Coastal Gin has announced a collaboration with pre-mixed cocktail brand Amanti.
The new range is aimed at the Dutch on-trade, including hotels, restaurants and bars, and features four ready-to-serve (RTS) cocktails created using Hermit Gin.
The cocktails are a Gin Sour, a Negroni, a Clover Club and a Matcha Sour.
The Dutch gin uses a blend of 10 botanicals, including orange peel and angelica root. Its owners, Noah Duijst and Siward de Groot, acquired the company in 2022 and announced their plans to turn it into a global brand.
The brand recently expanded into Portugal and entered the Japanese on-trade, with plans for further expansion in the country.
Amanti Cocktails was founded by Kas de Bruijne and Tjeerd Schravendeel with the intention of making convenient, quality pre-mixed cocktails for the on-trade. Its range includes an Espresso Martini, a Paloma and an Aperol Spritz.
The brand also offers a patented cocktail tap, which cools and shakes each drink as it pours.
In other gin news, last month scientists revealed they were developing a technique that would allow them to test the quality of a juniper spirit and identify fakes.
