Bemakers partners with Burning Barn
English rum producer Burning Barn will now work with Danish distribution platform Bemakers.
Through Bemakers, Burning Barn is set to expand its consumer base in the on- and off-trade in the Nordics and across Europe.
The partnership will see Bemakers provide distribution, logistics, compliance and infrastructure to Burning Barn.
The West Midlands-based rum brand was founded in 2015 by entrepreneur Katherine Jenner, with a commitment to authentic flavours, innovation and the use of natural ingredients.
The brand’s portfolio currently includes Smoked Rum, Spice Rum, Honey & Rum Liqueur, and its 2022 limited edition release, Cider Barrel Finished Apple Rum.
In addition, it offers a range of ready-to-drink beverages, presented in 250ml cans. They comprise Smoked & Ginger, Spiced & Cola, and Honey & Lemonade.
All rest at 5% ABV and are available to purchase as a case of 12 for RRP £33 (US$41).
In April last year, the rum producer surpassed its investment goal on Seedrs.
Bemakers recently launched a business-to-business (B2B) distribution platform, which allows brand owners to list and market their products to on- and off-trade customers in Europe.
Bemakers also has partnerships with Coconut Cartel rum, ready-to-drink brand Spicehaus, Scotch whisky Wee Smoky, gin producer In The Welsh Wind, and German spirits producer Copper & Brave.
