Spicehaus brings RTDs to new markets
Israeli bottled cocktail brand Spicehaus has expanded its global presence after entering Cyprus and Denmark.
Based in Tel Aviv, Israel, Spicehaus was founded by mixologist Yotam Shilo in March 2020, who decided to launch a series of bottled cocktails named after his first bar.
Shilo has previously helmed award-winning cocktail bars in Tel Aviv including the Double Standard and Spicehaus.
Spicehaus bar, which opened nearly a decade ago, was known for blending Eastern and Western spices to create cocktails.
Shilo said: “The key to the magic of these cocktails is the spices themselves. Nearly any spice can be incorporated into the world of cocktails, and they are not just a minor addition to the flavour, but rather the primary source of taste.
“The right spices are what give a cocktail its unique character.”
In the past year, the ready-to-drink (RTD) brand has pioneered what it claims is the first Israeli cocktail production facility, using ‘innovative’ infusion techniques.
Spicehaus’ products can be purchased online from the brand’s website or ordered through the Wolt app in Israel, Cyprus, and Denmark. The brand can also be found in select retail wine stores.
Spicehaus offers an extensive range of bottled cocktails including Pomegranate Daiquiri, Apple Martini, Negroni, Spicy Passion Fruit Margarita, Raspberry Mule, Pineapple Margarita, Cosmopolitan and Cherry Whiskey Sour.
The brand’s namesake venue was among the top 10 nominees for the Best International High Volume Cocktail Bar accolade (Middle East and Africa region) in Tales of the Cocktail’s 2020 Spirited Awards.
