Explore spirits from Martinique to France with La Martiniquaise-Bardinet

Grab your passport and take a virtual tour from the sun-soaked island of Martinique to the Cognac region of France to learn more about La Martiniquaise-Bardinet’s varied spirits portfolio.

La Martiniquaise-Bardinet was once again showcasing a selection of its portfolio at this year’s Bar Convent Berlin trade show. This year’s event took place from 9-11 October and welcomed around 15,000 visitors from 91 countries.

In our latest video collaboration, Donatien Ferrari, group communications manager at La Martiniquaise-Bardinet, takes us on a whistle-stop tour of Martinique and France to learn more about some of the leading spirits in the company’s stable.

Starting on the island of Martinique, Ferrari showcases Saint James, an agricole rum brand, which was established in 1765.

After shaking up some rum cocktails, we hot foot over to Bordeaux in France to discover Marie Brizard, the world’s oldest liqueur brand.

The journey of discovery then heads to Cognac in France, where Ferrari divulges more details about the company’s latest acquisition: Generous Gin. In April this year, La Martiniquaise-Bardinet acquired the gin brand’s parent company, Ôdevie Creative Spirits.
