RTD cocktail company Betty Booze released the new one-minute spot to celebrate founder Lively’s birthday on 25 August.

In the video, Lively is seen turning up at the home of the TV baker, carrying boxes and an ice bucket filled with the Betty Booze range: Sparkling Tequila with Lime Shiso; Sparkling Tequila with Oak Smoked Lemonade; and Sparkling Bourbon with Apple Ginger Sour Cherry.

The trio of RTD alcoholic canned cocktails all clock in at 4.5% ABV and are crafted with sparkling water, real juice, and premium spirits.

While seeking Hollywood’s professional opinion on the range, Lively explains that while she doesn’t drink alcohol, she eats it. “[You’ll be] really hard pressed to find anything I cook without alcohol,” she explains.

Taking a sip of the Sparkling Bourbon with Apple Ginger Sour Cherry expression, Hollywood says: “I really like it. It’s absolutely beautiful – the tang, the balance with the ginger – is spot on.”

Hollywood then begins to extend his hand in Lively’s direction, with the actress mistaking his intentions for one of his ‘famous’ handshakes. However, he diverts to the ice bucket and pulls out another can from the range.

“And so easy to grab… and go,” he says, while ushering an embarrassed Lively out of his house.

The advert ends with Lively saying: “Try Betty Booze, or I’ll come over and make you try them.”

This is the brand’s second advert this summer, following a spot created with the players of Wrexham AFC, for which Betty Buzz is a sponsor.

Aviation Gin, owned by Lively’s husband, actor Ryan Reynolds, also sponsors Wrexham AFC.
