Blake Lively launches Betty Booze
Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively has ventured into the ready-to-drink (RTD) market with the creation of Betty Booze.
After first unveiling her collection of low-calorie Betty Buzz mixers in September 2021, the teetotal actress has now released a trio of RTD alcoholic canned cocktails, all of which clock in at 4.5% ABV and are crafted with sparkling water, real juice, and premium spirits. The drinks contain no artificial flavours, colours or sweeteners.
The new line includes flavours Sparkling Bourbon with Apple Ginger Sour Cherry; Sparkling Tequila with Lemonade; and Sparkling Tequila with Lime Shiso.
Announcing the launch of Betty Booze on her Instagram page, Lively wrote: “Drinking isn’t my thing. But for f* sake, flavour is. Homemade recipes. Real fruit. Real ingredients. Quality booze. No crap. Also a real time saver. Which is why I really did it.
“@bettybooze if you’re also tired. Or lazy. But like me, you still have an ego about what you serve. Or if you just appreciate your mouth. Any excuse counts…

Betty Booze’s Sparkling Bourbon with Apple Ginger Sour Cherry is a ‘season-defying favourite’, and sees ‘sparkling’ Bourbon paired with the ‘crisp flavours’ of apple, a kick of ginger and a dash of sour cherry.
Created with premium Bourbon whiskey, the tasting notes include caramel, marzipan, and rye spice, with sweet, tangy and earthy flavours.
Meanwhile, the Sparkling Tequila with Lemonade has been infused with warm oak, a squeeze of orange and a dash of butter – the latter described as ‘the secret ingredient’ that gives the drink such ‘a special smoothness’.
Tasting notes include oak, vanilla, black pepper, as well as tart and silky flavours.
Finally, Sparkling Tequila with Lime Shiso is an ‘effervescent’ Tequila-based RTD, paired with notes of lime and shiso to create ‘something exquisitely refreshing’.
Tasting notes comprise agave, citrus and black pepper, as well as cinnamon and mint.
Lively’s husband, actor Ryan Reynolds, owns Aviation Gin and holds a stake in UK-based Wrexham Association Football Club (AFC). Betty Buzz was recently named as an official sponsor of Wrexham AFC.
