Sir Edmond Gin launches in Czech Republic
Dutch brand Sir Edmond Gin has partnered with spirits importer and distributor Fenix Drinks to launch in the Czech Republic.
Fenix Drinks is a ‘fast-growing’ spirits importer and distributor in the Czech Republic, noted Sir Edmond Gin. The company also offer services such as professional guided tastings, staff training, bar management, bar design consultation, and bar catering for events.
Samer Selbak and Jan Branis founded Fenix Drinks in 2019 to bring ‘interesting, authentic and transparent’ brands to Czech consumers.
Selbak said: “We are glad to announce our collaboration with Sir Edmond Gin, bringing a disruptive product to the Czech Republic. A new vanilla-infused gin that is bridging the existing gap on the local market. In the current days, gins are really popping up everywhere and it is challenging to find one that fits our values.
“When choosing new products to [add to] Fenix Drinks’ portfolio, we apply our company philosophy that wants authentic, transparent and good-fun brands. Sir Edmond Gin fulfils our strict criteria and we strongly believe this unique vanilla-profile gin will bring joy to our consumers.”
Fenix Drinks has established itself in leading Czech bars, restaurants and bistros.
Branis added: “Also, we deliberately choose products we feel connected to, and that we believe are a good fit not only for bars, but to use at home. This way we offer our consumers [the chance] to create a quality spirits bar at home and spend good times with family and friends.”
This year, the brand has already launched in Denmark, France, Poland, Hungary, and Réunion Island, described by the brand as the ‘vanilla capital of the world’, as well as India, Colombia and Indonesia.
