Sir Edmond Gin grows in Hungary
Dutch brand Sir Edmond Gin has partnered with Jan-ker/Mr Alkohol and will once again be available in Hungary.
Jan-ker/Mr Alkohol has a wide range of retail stores throughout Hungary, which welcome an average of 7,000 customers daily.
The company has been specialising in premium spirits since 2001 and also has an online sales platform.
Dominique Makatita, Sir Edmond Gin co-founder, said: “We are really looking forward to collaborating with Jan-ker/Mr Alkohol with their distribution centres, physical stores, strong e-commerce platform, and most importantly, the whole team behind it.
“They do not just believe in bottles, but they strongly believe in brands: building a future together where both will succeed.
“As a brand, we can do a lot from our headquarters, but we need the support and belief from our partner in the market to get things done.
“Thanks to their 20 years of knowledge, experience, and extensive network, we are convinced we will further grow the brand in Hungary together.”
Sir Edmond Gin is made with bourbon vanilla.
The Dutch brand has already announced a number of expansions this year, including Réunion Island, described by the brand as the ‘vanilla capital of the world’.
In February, the gin brand also revealed plans to launch in Poland, India, Colombia and Indonesia this year.
In other gin news, exports of British gin bounced back by more than a third in 2022 despite “ongoing challenges”.
