The Juniper Meetings Project runs for eight weeks in Greece, and explores different premium gins with tonics each week.

For the first week of the project (23-29 July), the Greek gin will be served by Dimitris Kiakos, co-owner of cocktail bar Tolokali in Athens.

The cocktail ‘meeting’ will begin at 6pm (EEST), and will see Mataroa mixed with Thomas Henry tonics.

Cocktails served include Mataroa mixed with tonic water, vanilla, pink grapefruit, and Sichuan pepper.

The second cocktail is a blend of the brand’s Pink gin, tonic water, fresh blueberries, and spicy cranberry bitters.

On 26 July, the head bartender of Bulgari Bar Dubai will be serving Mataroa Gin cocktails at Hilton-owned The Royal Senses Resort & Spa in Crete, from 8.30pm local time.

The brand has been rising in recent years, eyeing international expansion as Mataroa revealed it was ready to grow beyond its 17 existing markets.

In September 2022, the brand teamed up with designer Themis Zouganeli to create a limited edition bottle.

In more gin news, actor and film producer Brad Pitt recently launched his first gin: The Gardener.
