Mataroa Gin eyes international growth

Mataroa Mediterranean Dry Gin (Mataroa MDG) launched in March 2019. Now, four years later, it is available in 17 countries.
The brand is the number-one-selling Greek premium gin brand in Greece.
Mataroa MDG is created at the Melissanidi Distillery in northern Greece, a centennial family business with great tradition in producing ‘delicious spirits with strong character and unique taste’.
The brand has grown a strong following among consumers and bartenders, thanks to its ability to inspire cocktails and ‘exceptional G&Ts’.
The brand’s flagship expression was enhanced by the launch of Mataroa Pink, a fresh pink gin based on MDG’s ingredients and infused with pomegranate and hibiscus.
Distributors of the brand’s portfolio include Amathus in the UK, and La Maison Du Whisky in France.
Mataroa MDG will be available to discover at the Roma Bar Show from 29-30 May, and the Athens Bar Show from 7-8 November.
