Swedish whisky Agitator has entered three new European markets

Agitator Whiskymakare has partnered with distributors L’Explorateur du Goût in France, Spirit Depot in Poland and Winehunters in Ukraine.

“Agitator is built on extreme ambitions,” said Agitator CEO Oskar Kalmaru. “We know our whiskies are of absolute premium quality and with a top-class partner like L’Explorateur Du Goût, Spirit Depot (Navigator Polska) and Winehunters we can meet the most selective whisky drinkers in France, Poland and Ukraine.”

Agitator will be available exclusively at retailer Winehunters, which has opened 20 new stores in the past year.

Arkaitz Gimenez, sales director at Charter Brands, said: “The partnerships set up with esteemed distributors known for their exceptional spirits portfolios and unwavering commitment to quality will play a vital role in Charter Brands expanding the reach for Agitator Whiskymakare amongst connoisseurs in Europe.

“This successful venture also mirrors the increasing interest we have witnessed in Agitator Whiskymakare in export markets. As we continue to forge new connections and introduce the brand to enthusiasts worldwide, we are excited for the global journey that lies ahead.”

Agitator was launched in 2021 and is Charter Brands’ first move into the new world whisky category. Its flagship products are Agitator Single Malt and Agitator Blended Whisky, which are made at the brand’s Arboga-based distillery using a vacuum-distilled process.

The whiskies will be rolled out in France, Poland and Ukraine in the coming months. Charter Brands is also planning to bring Agitator to other markets around the world.
