Dos Hombres launches merchandise
Breaking Bad duo Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul have unveiled new merchandise for their mezcal brand Dos Hombres.
The pair, who starred in the acclaimed AMC show Breaking Bad, entered the agave spirits category in 2019 with Dos Hombres Mezcal, which uses spirit from mezcal producers in San Luis del Rio, Oaxaca.
Cranston and Paul selected the spirit after travelling to Mexico to find “something so damn good even people who don’t think they like mezcal will love it”.
The brand’s new spring clothing line comprises a tan hoodie, joggers and t-shirt, a matching short-sleeved shirt and shorts, and a duffle bag. Prices range between US$40-US$75 for the items.
The actors said they will donate 100% of proceeds from the merchandise to the building of infrastructure in the village of San Luis del Rio.
Proceeds will help support projects such as rebuilding roads, agave reforestation and water purification for the entire village of 500 inhabitants.
The release of the spring range was revealed on Cranston’s and Paul’s Instagram pages, with the caption: “Happy Mezcal Monday everyone! New @doshombres merch just launched so check it out before it sells out. Remember, 100% of the proceeds go back to the beautiful people of Oaxaca. It’s because of this incredible community the finest spirit in the world exists.”
In 2020, the mezcal brand launched in the UK.
Last year, Dos Hombres released two signed bottles of their sold-out Dos Hombres Tobala Mezcal.
