Cranston and Paul, best known for playing Walter White and Jesse Pinkman in AMC series Breaking Bad, launched their mezcal brand Dos Hombres in 2019.

The brand’s portfolio consists of Tobala Mezcal and Espadin Mezcal, made using spirit from mezcal producers in San Luis del Rio, Oaxaca.

Dos Hombres Tobala is a 25-year-old artisanal mezcal that is currently sold out, yet two bottles are being signed and re-released through shopping channel Spirit’s Network on 7 September.

The two bottles will be available for RRP US$575 through Dropzone, a marketplace on Spirits Network, and will only accessible to members on a first-come-first-served basis.

The Tobala Mezcal (45% ABV) is made with resin from copal trees in Oaxaca.

The actors selected the liquid after travelling to Mexico to find “something so damn good even people who don’t think they like mezcal will love it”, Paul wrote on Twitter.

As the name suggests, the Espadin expression (42% ABV) is made from espadin agave. To make the mezcal, piñas from the agave plants are cooked in earthen pits to release sugars, before being crushed using a tahona wheel. After fermenting for seven to 10 days, the mezcal is distilled in copper stills.

The brand is made by third-generation mezcal maker Gregorio Velasco.

Dos Hombres Espadin retails for RRP US$65.

The brand launched in the UK in 2020 through department store Selfridges.

In 2021, Constellation Brands has acquired a minority stake in Dos Hombres Mezcal for an undisclosed sum.
