Two expressions within the brand’s portfolio, Jawbox Small Batch Gin and Jawbox Export Strength, can now be purchased online via the Total Wine & More website, as well as in all its 233 superstores across 27 states.

John Soden, chief commercial officer of Kirker Greer Spirits, said: “Jawbox has been an extremely popular brand in our portfolio since its launch in 2016, and has since gained listings and high demand not only in the UK but internationally in Europe, Asia and Australia.

“We are delighted to see it gain further momentum globally with this launch in the US, and we look forward to working with the Total Wine & More team to grow the brand throughout the US.”

The Jawbox distillery is located in Northern Ireland on a 300-acre 16th century estate, where the grain for the spirit is grown and harvested.

The small batch gin is triple-distilled in traditional copper pot stills using a combination of 11 botanicals.

On the nose, Jawbox offers bold notes of juniper and pine, balanced with a gentle touch of sweet coriander and clean citrus.

On the palate, it brings flavours of citrus and juniper that develop into peppery, earthy Angelica root. The finish contains citrus, lingering juniper, and pine.

The Jawbox Small Batch Gin and Jawbox Export Strength are priced at US$29.99 and US$34.99 respectively.

Last year, Jawbox created a 32-litre bottle of gin, which it claimed was the biggest bottle of juniper spirit in the world. Also, the drinks business included it in its Week In Pictures.
