Dan Levy creates Cointreau cocktails

French drinks group Rémy Cointreau has partnered with Schitt’s Creek star Dan Levy to produce a digital series elevating the brand’s cocktails.

Levy and chefs Nyesha Arrington and Sohia El-Waylly will present their favourite variations of the Margarita through a three-part series.

In each episode, Levy will present a Margarita recipe alongside one of the chefs.

He said: “Cointreau is the key ingredient in my favourite cocktails – an ice-cold Margarita and a Cosmo on the rocks in a tumbler. So, when Cointreau approached me, it was kind of fated.

“Having spent the spring shooting The Big Brunch alongside some of my culinary heroes, I needed to pull-up my socks when it came to hospitality — so I chose to start this summer perfecting some cocktails to level-up any gathering.”

The series will be aired on Entertainment Weekly’s and the Food & Wine’s online channels in the US.

It is also accessible now through partneredcontent.ew.com/cointreau/dan-levy-approved-margaritas/.

“Cointreau is an essential ingredient in hundreds of the world’s most well-known cocktails and continues to be a staple for at-home bar carts, especially when entertaining friends and family,” said Ian McLernon, president and CEO at Rémy Cointreau Americas.

“Our partnership with Dan gives consumers all of the tips they need to host any summer gathering, one delicious Margarita at a time. Dan is such a natural fit with our brand and we know our audience will love what he brings to the table this summer and beyond.”

Earlier this week, the French firm reported an organic sales increase of 27% in the first quarter of its 2022/2023 full year, with Cognac sales up by almost a third.

In other celebrity collaborations, Cognac brand Rémy Martin and music artist Usher partnered up to launch the Usher x Rémy Martin: A Taste of Passion campaign.
