PLD Paris reveals 2022 programme
By Nicola CarruthersThe Packaging of Premium & Luxury Drinks (PLD) Paris event has revealed the speakers and seminars for the 2022 show, due to be held next month.

PLD Paris had been due to take place on 19 and 20 January this year at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, held alongside the Aerosol & Dispensing Forum (ADF) and the Packaging of Perfume, Cosmetics & Design (PCD) shows. Organised by Easyfairs, the shows are part of the rebranded Paris Packaging Week.
However, due to developments relating to the global Covid-19 pandemic, the event will be held on 29 and 30 June 2022.
Among some of the packaging suppliers in attendance are: Autajon, Piramal Glass, Tapi, Berlin Packaging, O-I glass, Estal, DS Smith, Pusterla 1880, Color Grail, DAPY Paris.
The PLD Talks sessions will cover topics such as the potential for NFTs in wine and spirits, how to develop a pack remotely, the role of design agencies in creating a product, the creation of Indian single malt Godawan, e-commerce and glass decarbonisation pathways.
Speakers include: Sandrine Sommer, chief sustainability officer, Moët Hennessy; Simon Léoment, product development manager, Rémy Cointreau; Julien Romdane, POS and packaging development manager, Pernod Ricard; Chris Joscelyne, marketing manager, Butterfly Cannon; and Eric Berthes, founder, Planet Design.
