Brockmans Gin sells one million bottles
By Nicola CarruthersEnglish gin Brockmans saw revenue rise by 36% in 2021, with the brand selling one million bottles for the first time in a 12-month period.
The brand said the one million milestone was the company’s biggest achievement to date.
Brockmans sold 77,760 nine-litre cases in 2021 across key global markets, including Germany, Spain and the US.
Brockmans CEO Guy Lawrence said: “This is an incredible moment for us as a brand, and we’re extremely proud of our team, partners and distribution network across all of our global markets for achieving this.
“As they say, your first million is always the hardest, and we look forward to the next. The category continues to grow rapidly worldwide, with IWSR forecasting super-premium gin to grow by 87% over the next five years, or 14.5% per annum, and we intend to perform well ahead of that.”
Brockmans claims to be one of the largest privately-owned super-premium gin brands in the world.
The gin is priced at RRP £34 (US$41.50) per 700ml bottle in the UK. The brand is distributed in the market by Proximo Spirits.
Brockmans was named one of our gin brands to watch in 2022.
Last June, Brockmans launched a new global advertising campaign as part of its refreshed brand strategy.
