Vinexpo Paris to welcome 20,000 visitors
By Nicola CarruthersTrade show organiser Vinexposium is expecting 20,000 visitors to its Wine Paris and Vinexpo Paris show next month.

Earlier this month, Vinexposium confirmed Wine Paris and Vinexpo Paris would take place as planned from 14 to 16 February 2022.
The fair will be held at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in France after a two-year absence due to the pandemic. The Paris event is expected to have more than 2,800 exhibitors.
Vinexposium said visitor registration numbers have ‘soared’ since the dates were confirmed, growing at a daily rate of 10%. Of those who have registered, 58% are French and 42% are from international markets. In addition, 79% of registration requests came from trade buyers – with 8% from the hospitality industry.
The top five registered countries are Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK, the US and Germany.
The event attracts distributors, restaurateurs, wine merchants, importers, wholesalers, bartenders and sommeliers from across the globe.
“With three weeks to go before the exhibition opens, we are putting all our energy into delivering the event the industry is expecting,” said Rodolphe Lameyse, CEO of Vinexposium.
“We are leveraging all our resources to bring in key international buyers and make Wine Paris and Vinexpo Paris an amazing event in every respect.”
The programme has been designed to offer visitors an ‘optimised in-person experience’ with masterclasses and tastings, seminars and themed areas, including Be Spirits, which will cover spirits and mixology.
Furthermore, Vinexpo Paris is due to reveal more than 80 partner bars and restaurants for attendees to visit after the show.
To attend the fair, visitors must have proof of vaccination and are required to wear a face covering. Digital access badges are preferred for entry and an enhanced cleaning process will be implemented in every area throughout the show.
Earlier this month, Vinexposium cancelled its Hong Kong fair in May 2022 to focus on its China event.
