Foxhole Spirits x Gin Monkey Martini Masterclass
Today (19 June) at 5pm BST, Foxhole Spirits will celebrate National Martini Day with a cocktail masterclass, held by brand ambassador Jake Goldstein. The virtual event will see Goldstein teach consumers how to make Martinis at home, provide knowledge of the serve and answer questions on Zoom.
The online workshop is part of the month-long World Gin Day celebrations and will be co-hosted by World Gin Day founder Emma Stokes.

Hospo Live
At 6.30pm BST today (19 June), online series Hospo Live will present Building a Whiskey Dynasty, featuring a Q&A session with Eddie Russell, master distiller of Wild Turkey Bourbon, live from Kentucky in the US.

Drink Kong virtual tour
Italian aperitivo Campari is bringing the world’s best bars to consumers at home throughout June.
This weekend (18-20 June), Drink Kong in Rome, Italy, will reopen its doors virtually to allow drinkers to chat to its bartenders and enjoy a live DJ set.
The experience, including the ingredients to make a classic Negroni, and two bespoke pre-made cocktails from the bar’s menu, are priced at £20 (US$25) per person. All proceeds will go to Campari UK’s Shaken Not Broken fund, in partnership with The Drinks Trust and Tipjar, which are working to help the on-trade during the pandemic.

Session & Snacks
Tomorrow (20 June) at 7pm BST, Jaisalmer Indian Gin and Rampur Double Cask Indian single malt whisky will go live on Instagram with Masterchef 2020 quarter-finalist Mustan Chana and mixologist Harp Mann.
Chana and Mann will present a cocktail and nibbles session, demonstrating how to make Indian-inspired snacks, which will be paired with innovative cocktails.
Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire presents Drag Queen Mukbang
Tomorrow (20 June), Jack Daniel’s will kick off its new online series, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire presents Drag Queen Mukbang, which will feature Youtube star Patrick Starrr, The Try Guys‘ Eugene Lee Yang, and former RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants, Gia Gunn and Laganja Estranja.
The four-episode series will see the hosts discuss the impact of Covid-19 on their lives and its affect on the LGBTQ+ community. Jack Daniel’s has also partnered with GLAAD and 16 local LGBTQ organisations across the country for Pride Month, which takes place in June each year.
Episodes debut every Saturday at 10am ET until 11 July and will remain available to watch on jackfirepride.com.
Vinexpo webinar
After the weekend, trade fair Vinexpo New York will host a free online panel discussion on Tuesday at 11am EDT on the opportunities and challenges for new and emerging alcohol brands during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The panel will discuss how marketing and sales strategies can be adapted, the opportunities and challenges for alcohol brands and how they can succeed during the ‘new normal’ for the industry.

Trade show Bar Convent Brooklyn will also host a webinar on Tuesday at 1.30pm ET, called ‘Is more better? Simplifying your back bar post-Covid-19’.
The session will look at how to choose which spirits to have on your back bar with a focus on Scotch.
Nick King from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) will be tasked with selecting five Scotch whiskies that epitomise the breadth and scope of the category.
Sazerac Cocktail Day
On Tuesday (23 June), Buffalo Trace owner Sazerac will celebrate Sazerac Cocktail Day, the anniversary of the signing of the Sazerac as the official cocktail of the city of New Orleans in 2008.
The day will kick off at 10am CT at The Sazerac House with the reading of the proclamation, followed by a whiskey walk with distillery operations Manager David Bock at 11am. The day will end with a virtual cocktail masterclass at The Charente Bar from 5pm to 5.45pm.
Spirit Forward Womxn’s Empowerment Series
Next Tuesday (23 June), Bacardi will hosts its third Spirit Forward Womxn’s Empowerment Series in an online format due to the pandemic.
Taking place from 1-5pm ET, the series seeks to champion women in the industry and this year will adopt ‘womxn’ to include non-cis-gender women as part of the community.
The series will be made available to everyone in the industry for free for the first time.
Speakers and panellists will cover timely topics such as managing finances during a global pandemic, what to expect as bars begin to reopen across the world with lessons learned from China, along with moments to honour the LGBTQ+ community.
Returning to the series is activist and educator, Ashtin Berry (pictured), who will host a session on black history within hospitality. Berry will also co-host a segment on the power dynamics of white women and women of colour, called Treacherous Waters, alongside Privateer Rum’s head distiller, Maggie Campbell.
