TFWA to welcome new exhibitors in Cannes

The Tax Free World Association (TFWA) is gearing up to host its World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes, featuring more than 500 exhibitors.

The TFWA Exhibition & Conference in Cannes kicks off this weekend

The show will take place from 29 September to 4 October at the Palais des Festivals and will feature 65 exhibitors either making their debut at the exhibition or returning after a short absence, such as Champagne Lanson, Viña Concha y Toro and Scotch whisky producer Hunter Laing.

New this year will be the TFWA Innovation Lab, which will showcase the latest ideas and products from 28 “forward-facing” companies. The initiative will run from 1 October to midday on 4 October in a dedicated tent facing the Majestic Beach.

“From the growth of digital technology to increasing demand for more sustainable practices, the duty free and travel retail industry is undergoing a number of significant changes that will greatly impact our business in the coming years,” said Alain Maingreaud, TFWA president.

“Exhibitors joining us at the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference and TFWA Innovation Lab will offer a window into the trends, tools and services that will enable all industry stakeholders to prepare for this transformation and help them better serve the future needs of the international traveller.”

Former UK prime minister Tony Blair will be the keynote speaker at the TFWA’s opening conference. For a more in-depth preview of the show, and to see which leading spirits brands will be exhibiting, click here.
