Tony Blair to open TFWA conference in Cannes
By Amy HopkinsFormer UK prime minister Tony Blair has been announced as the keynote speaker at this year’s TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes.
Tony Blair will address delegates the the TFWA World Conference in OctoberBlair will speak about his political experience and share his thoughts on Brexit, foreign policy and other geopolitical matters during the event this October.
The former Labour party leader was prime minister from 1997 to 2007 and during that time witnessed major change to the domestic and international political landscape.
“As always at the TFWA World Conference, our aim is to engage speakers who can help us better understand the times in which we live and do business,” said Alain Maingreaud, TFWA president.
“Our keynote speaker this year is someone with unrivalled experience of regional and global politics, who is able to address the often complex issues that are shaping the world economy.
“We are delighted to welcome Mr Blair to Cannes and look forward to hearing his thoughts on a wide range of issues.”
The TFWA World Exhibition & Conference will take place on 29 September to 4 October. The Spirits Business will publish an in-depth preview of the event in its September 2019 edition.
The show will enhance its focus on innovation with a brand new concept that will give exhibitors the opportunity to “showcase new ideas and fresh thinking”.
