De Kuyper names Van de Ven global commercial director
By Owen BellwoodDutch drinks producer De Kuyper Royal Distillers has appointed Erik Van de Ven as its new global commercial director.
Erik Van De Ven has been named global commercial director at De KuyperPrior to taking on the role of global commercial director, Van de Ven began his career at Diageo and Japan Tobacco International.
He later joined soft drinks firm Britvic as director of global premium in 2017 and has held positions at Heineken.
Mark de Witte, CEO of De Kuyper Royal Distillers, said: “We are very happy to welcome Erik Van de Ven in this very important phase of our business transformation with a focus on accelerating the global growth of our brands.
“I am convinced that with his proven track record and together with our worldwide premium business partners, Erik and his team are set up for significant long-term growth of our brands. Along with leading our export department Erik will be part of our global leadership team based in Schiedam.
Van de Ven takes over the position from Ivan Menting, who moves on to the role of business development director for a transitional period.
