Tullamore Dew appoints new brand ambassadors

Irish whiskey Tullamore Dew has expanded its brand ambassador presence in the US, adding Gillian Murphy and Donna Stewart to its team.

Gillian Murphy (L) and Donna Stewart (R) have been appointed Tullamore Dew brand ambassadors

Stewart and Murphy will work as west and east coast ambassadors respectively, joining the brand’s national ambassador, Tim Herlihy.

Murphy will oversee the eastern region of the US, including Chicago and New York. Originally from Cork, Ireland, Murphy joined the trainee brand ambassador programme with Tullamore Dew after graduating from university in 2015. She went on to serve as the in-market Tullamore Dew trainee in south Florida before a stint in London working in the global travel retail department at brand owner William Grant & Sons.

Stewart, who will cover cities on the west coast, including Los Angeles and San Francisco, previously held positions in the hospitality and social media marketing industries.

Herlihy said: “I’m looking forward to working alongside two highly qualified ambassadors as we aim to spread the love of Tullamore Dew across the country.

“They each have an expansive knowledge of the whiskey category and having both work together to cover all of our US markets is a wonderful asset for our brand.”
