Firebox releases Unicorn Tears Raspberry Gin Liqueur
British online retailer Firebox has launched a raspberry-flavoured variant of its Unicorn Tears Gin Liqueur.

“Made from the tears of humanely raised unicorns”, the liqueur first came to our attention in 2015, and following “phenomenal success” it has returned with a new expression.
Unicorn Tears Raspberry Gin Liqueur has been infused with raspberries to give it a “deliciously sweet punch” and a “shimmering” pink hue.
The gin liqueur is described as having notes of tangy citrus, juniper berries, coriander and liquorice.
The new expression is the latest addition to Firebox’s ‘Mythical Tears’ spirits portfolio, and follows the release of Phoenix Tears Rum and Mermaid Tears Vodka.
It is recommended served in cocktails or over ice with tonic and fresh raspberries.
Firebox has also added a 500ml version of its Unicorn Tears Black Gin Liqueur following the success of its 50ml bottle.
Head of own brand, Caitlin Parry, said: “Unicorn Tears Gin has been our best-selling alcohol line in Firebox’s 20-year history. With summer coming up, we thought adding a fruit synonymous with picnics and warm weather would infuse perfectly with our magical gin.
“The gin market is still as popular as ever, with consumers looking for more unusual and unique tasting experiences. With artisan makers popping up everywhere, it can be hard to stand out. Luckily, this shimmering bright pink bottle made from the real tears of unicorns has no issue with being overshadowed.”
