Boutique-y bottling marks World Gin Day

That Boutique-y Gin Company has collaborated with the organiser of World Gin Day to create a limited edition gin bottling that contains seven botanicals from seven continents.

World Gin Day 7 Continents Gin marks World Gin Day on 10 June

World Gin Day 7 Continents Gin contains European juniper, Australian coriander seed, North American angelica root, Asian cinnamon, African liquorice root and South American lime zest.

The final distilled gin also includes a tiny amount of Antarctic sea salt, harvested from waters from currents originating in the Antarctic Ocean.

Given tasting notes include “cracked coriander and a zip of lime” on the nose, with “bright, zesty lime, and sophisticated spice” on the finish.

World Gin Day organiser Emma Stokes said: “Every year World Gin Day grows bigger, with more people around the world celebrating all things gin. This year is no different, and 2017 is set to be the biggest yet.

“I’m so excited to be working with That Boutique-y Gin Company to produce a gin made especially for the day, it’s been a fantastic collaboration, and I think we’ve come up with a brilliant and slightly unusual gin!”
World Gin Day 7 Continents Gin (Batch 1) is a limited release of 880 bottles with an abv of 47.7%. It is a available now at an RRP of £31.95 from Amazon and Master of Malt.

That Boutique-y Gin Company, formed by the team behind That Boutique-y Whisky Company in February this year, is thought to be the world’s first independent gin bottler.
