The Lost Distillery Company, known for its Scotch whisky bottlings inspired by closed distilleries, will now debut its range in Hong Kong and Macau.

“Adega Royale’s appointment is a key move for us in building brand awareness with Scotch aficionados across Asia, as we continue to grow our global whisky business from east Ayrshire,” said Scott Watson, co-founder of the company.

“The team’s in-depth experience and understanding of the sector provides an ideal platform to showcase and educate consumers in Hong Kong and Macau about our exceptional whisky proposition.”

The Lost Distillery Company launched its range – which now consists of three collections: Classic, Archivist and Vintage – internationally in 2013 and now operates in almost 50 markets.

In October last year, the firm, owned by Crucial Drinks, moved its operations to the Scottish stately home, Dumfries House.

Earlier in the year, Crucial Drinks appointed whisky connoisseur Ewan Henderson (left) to the newly created role of global brand ambassador.
