Distell and Stock Spirits ink UK distribution deal
Central and Eastern European producer Stock Spirits has expanded its distribution partnership with South Africa-based drinks group Distell to include the UK market.
Lubelska is one of the liqueurs coming to the UK under the new partnership.
The partnership will come into effect on 1 June 2017.
The two companies already have distribution partnerships in Italy and Slovakia. This new deal will see a host of new brands join the Distell UK portfolio, including: Limoncè – Italy’s number one Limoncello – Amundsen Expedition Vodka, Żołądkowa deLuxe crystal clear vodka, Żołądkowa Gorzka, Lubelska and Stock XO brandy.
Michael Kennedy, managing director of Stock Spirits International and Italy, said: “With our range of award winning Polish vodkas and Italian heritage brands, the UK is an important market for Stock Spirits and we are delighted to be partnering with Distell to help take our presence to the next level. We are confident this will be a beneficial partnership for both parties.”
Over the last year, Distell has enhanced its business in the UK market through investment and expansion of its commercial team.
The company recently ended distribution deals with SHS, Cellar Trends and Brand Phoenix in the UK.
