Halewood to showcase portfolio at IAADFS

UK-based drinks group Halewood Wines & Spirits has partnered with distributor Haleybrooke International to target North Americas travel retail at the upcoming IAADFS Duty Free Show of the Americas.

Whitley Neill is attracting attention in Americas travel retail

Whitley Neill London Dry Gin will be exhibited on the Haleybrooke stand (booth 207) in a new travel retail-exclusive 1-litre format.

The 43% abv Africa-inspired, ‘handcrafted’ gin is made with nine botanicals, including African Cape gooseberries and fruit from the baobab tree.

Also on display will be recently acquired brand The Pogues Irish Whiskey, again in a 1-litre format for travel retail. The liquid, a blend of Irish malt and grain whiskies, has been matured in Amercian ex-Bourbon barrels and presented non-chill-filtered in black bottles.

Other Halewood products, including Liverpool Gin, Whitley Neill Quince Gin, Whitley Neill Orange Vodka and the JJ Whitley flavoured gin and vodka line will also be on display at the event.

Halewood is confident the brands will “attract plenty of attention” at the Orlando trade event having secured “more than a dozen” new listings at the Frontier Duty Free Association Convention 2016, held in Toronto, Canada.

The IAADFS Duty Free Show of the Americas takes place at the Orlando World Center Marriott from 26-29 March 2017.

Last month, Halewood revealed it had submitted a planning application to open the “first” whisky-producing distillery in north Wales for more than 100 years.
