Fair launches ‘superfood’ berry liqueur
By Nicola Carruthers‘Socially responsible’ spirits brand Fair has unveiled a new liqueur made using açai – a “superfood” berry from the Amazon rainforest.
Fair Açai is organic and Fairtrade certified
The superfood berry is bursting with antioxidants, fibre and ‘good’ fats, and is celebrated for its anti-ageing and immune system-boosting properties, among others.
Fair Açai offers “aromas of fruit puree and marmalade”, and in line with all of Fair’s products, is organic and Fairtrade certified.
Founded in 2009 by Alexandre Koiransky, Fair is a collection of ethically-produced spirits and liqueurs from France crafted by master brewer and distiller, Philip Laclie.
The brand’s Fairtrade ingredients include organic quinoa from the 3000m high Altiplano Plateau and handpicked juniper berries in Uzbekistan.
The full range features Fair Vodka, Rum, Gin, Café Liqueur, and Kumquat liqueur.
Fair Açai is currently available online at 31Dover.com at an RRP of £17.95
In September last year, UK distributor Mangrove added Fair to its portfolio.
