ProWein gets set to showcase 400 spirits

The organisers of leading wine and spirits trade show ProWein are gearing up to welcome thousands of visitors and exhibitors to its 2017 event, set to take place in Düsseldorf from 19-21 March.

ProWein 2016 attracted more than 55,000 trade visitors

Visitors can expect to visit more than 400 spirits exhibitors, with focuses on the sector found across the show.

Key features of this year’s show include a ‘Same But Different’ area, which showcases new and unusual ideas on the theme of wine and spirits.

In addition, the fizzz Lounge will return, featuring noted bartenders, including Tom Weinberger, leading an exploration of aroma and taste through unusual combinations – craft beers with whiskey and tequila, with rums, brandies and liqueurs paired with wines. Innovative coffee presentations will also be a key focus.

For 2017 ProWein has expanded its food and beverage provision, and a number of food trucks will be situated in the outdoor space between Halls 9 and 17.

Visitor guides will be distributed free of charge at all entry points, and the newly designed ProWein website will offer visitors all key information.

ProWein’s 2016 edition in Düsseldorf attracted more than 55,000 trade visitors.
